Keyboard Piano is a musical keyboard app designed for children of all ages. This policy explains what information the app does and does not collect. Our goal is to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union including GDPR provisions for children, and the Google Play Families Policy.

What we do not collect

• We do not ask for or collect any personal information (no name, email, age, phone, address, or account).
• We do not require a login or account of any kind.
• We do not track user location.
• We do not use analytics SDKs or behavioral tracking.
• We do not sell data to third parties. We have no data to sell.

What is stored on your device

• An optional "player name" you may enter in the settings screen. This is stored only in your browser or app via localStorage. It never leaves your device. Clearing app data removes it.
• A count of notes played, stored the same way. Never transmitted.

Advertising

The Android app shows a single banner advertisement at the bottom of the screen, served by Google AdMob. Because this app is directed at children, we request that AdMob serve only family-safe, non-personalized advertisements. Specifically, we enable the following AdMob settings on every ad request:

• Tag for Child-Directed Treatment (TFCD) — per COPPA.
• Tag for Users Under the Age of Consent (TFUA) — per GDPR for children.
• Maximum ad content rating: General (G-rated only).

With these settings, AdMob does not use advertising identifiers to personalize ads, does not build user profiles, and restricts ads to content appropriate for a general audience including children. The web version

The web version of Keyboard Piano (at keyboardpiano.dloizides.com and on itch.io) uses Google AdSense rather than AdMob. The same principles apply: no personal data is collected by us, and we do not ask for accounts, age, or identity. Browser-level privacy controls and adblockers are respected.

Third-party services

• Google AdMob (Android app) — serves non-personalized banner ads. Google's policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Google AdSense (web only) — serves ads on the website version.

No other third parties receive data from this app.

Parents and guardians

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has somehow provided personal information through this app (we do not ask for any, but if in doubt), or if you have any questions about this policy, please contact us using the address below. We will respond promptly.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, export, correct, or delete on our servers. You may delete anything stored locally by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings (for the app), or by clearing browser storage (for the web version).

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes that affect what data is collected will be announced in the Google Play Store listing and here.
